Yeezy Season is Finally Here

In the fashion world, whether your preference is prep, street, or high fashion, there is one name on everyone’s tongue at any given time. Kanye West. Since he last appeared on the scene with his collaboration with French label A.P.C, and after his epic saga with Nike, he signed with Adidas. After a considerable waiting period, Adidas has launched an app specifically for the release of his long awaited collab. Titled “Confirmed”, the app allows residents within the five boroughs of NYC (for now) to reserve a pair of his unseen footwear designs once they are released. As well as the creation of the app, the website yeezy.supply has put up a video that can only be described as a Yeezus styled video of the production of the shoe. Along with the video, the site features a countdown which at this very moment reads 00:00:06:01:32:06:13. No information yet about what the countdown means, but speculation tells of a possible release for the shoe unseen to the public so far, while others believe it could merely be the surfacing of pictures of the latest design. Only time will tell what will become of the countdown and this highly anticipated release. There also has not been a mention of an apparel collection, but strictly based on Ye’s track record, I wouldn’t be surprised, and doubtfully disappointed.

In A World Full of Firsts.

The world is full of firsts. There’s something about doing or feeling something for the first time that is unparalleled. That first crush, the first time your dad teaches you how to catch a ball. Times that bring a type of happiness not easily replicated. However there are also the type of firsts that change your life. Choices that can existentially alter how you continue to live. Some are small, and can be as random as a simple hello, or changing your daily route to work. Then there are the conscious firsts. These are extremely special and you’ll remember them for your entire life. These firsts will arrive at your crossroads. The decisions to dive head first into full commitments that will make or break you. The creation of the TLP was one of those moments. A first, in a series of firsts. A moment conceived by three boys from the Haddon burbs of South Jersey, who moved to the big city of Philadelphia. As proponents, and students, of fashion from local streetwear designers to high fashion, we’re committed to bringing you our thoughts and updates on the fashion game.
